At least one or two of the pre-adonthell snapshots include a precompiled
binary. I just installed some rpm's from the ggi site (sorry Joel, but
I've got both a Debian and a SuSE box ;)) and it worked like a charm.

I guess 0.1 would work too with the ggi-devel packages installed. But I
remember that 0.2 required some older version of SDL. Didn't try to
compile/run it, so I'm not sure.

Maybe it'd be a good idea to keep a copy of the required libs around, as
long as they're still available.

Thanks. If we manage to put up some songs the next weekend (and the
weekends after) that'd be nice. Continuous updates to the site shows
people that we're still in business. Of course, first of all we should
concentrate on the game, not on the website ;).

As for the music: I'm currently wondering whether we should simply make
the .it files available. 2 reasons: first, it's a much smaller download.
Second, people wouldn't wonder why they are of slightly lesser audio
quality than the current music. As they can see that they are mods, the
reason would be obvious.

OTOH, if you don't compare them directly to the studio-made tracks, they
sound fairly good. I mean, ss such they are great pieces of music :).
