I think all this discussion on wether to use sources or binaries is
quite useless. we aim to build a system on which everyone can choose
his/her way to go.

anyway, this kind of discussion can be eternal. otherwise there wouldn't
be any division between Debian and Gentoo ;)

We can test some components on GNU/Linux (i'm not sure which of them), but
the way we're trying to concieve the whole thing a GNU/Linux port is
unthinkable, because we need a lot of filesystem interfaces to work.

note that some messages may be lost due to mailman misconfiguration.. i
think i forwarded all them but can't be sure.
