Hi Peter,

thank you very much for your series of patches. I have pushed them to
the repository; the new version of the AX_CHECK_LIBZ macro is now
available from the web site

  http://www.gnu.org/software/autoconf-archive/ax_check_zlib.html

and will also be included in the upcoming release of the archive.

By the way, you might be interested in the command "git format-patch",
which make is easier for both submitters and maintainers to deal with a
series of patches. :-)
