As no document existed to that time (more than 5 years ago), I thought 
it would be a good idea to write down what I found out by studying the 
compiler sources. Obviously I disproved myself. ;-)

My intention was to explain the odd looking sequence, adding a tab at 
the end. That trailing tab makes the listing more readable. I took it 
for granted, that the line feed is required. Possibly a problem of not 
being a good English speaker.
