I'll write a howto, if someone donates the hardware...I've not done it, but
I'm quite sure I could figure it out. Anyone have a Dialogic CTI card to
spare?

It's not easy but it is possible and people do it. You would have to
use the H.323 driver and a CTI card driver. You are right about the
state of the documentation. We really need a bunch of howtos on
particular topics like this. Anyone want to write the Bayonne Gateway
Howto?

Between bayonne servers or between CTI devices? Yes to both, but the
communication between bayonne servers is pretty primitive. You can
communicate between scripts running on device trunks, join trunks from
disparate devices, etc.

It shouldn't be hard once you get the basics working. Keep in mind
that bayonne only natively supports H.323 at the moment, so that's one
limitation. Bayonne does support a pretty good array of CTI cards,
though. If you are interested, take a look at the H.323 driver, and
get that going, then mail this list with specific questions on
configuring H.323 with the CTI card of your choice. Someone who has
worked with that card should be able to help.
