[be] Problem installing on Windows XP Pro

Hi,

I've got a problem installing Bibledit. 

 

It has the error "Windows cannot open the device or file specified". I downloaded it again in case it was a faulty download, but that didn't help. 

 

However, during the failed installation process, it went ahead and installed Git successfully. But that wasn't enough to sort it out because further attempts at installation failed.  The wiki has this line in the installation procedure "You must install msysgit and place the Git tools in the system path."  Yet it doesn't make any reference to what this is or where msysgit and Git tools are or where they can be found, and so on.  I'm reasonably able to program and install etc (though not a full time programmer), but this is just not working........

 

I've checked the mailing list archives and there is nothing that seems relevant. 

 

Can anyone make any suggestions as to what I need to do to get Bibledit installed and working?  It would be much appreciated.
