The first mail actually went to the right addresses.  The one you
forwarded to me was the one with the wrong address.  The discussion
should stay on the mailing list so that others have the chance to
comment or, if they have a similar problem, find the discussion and
possibly a solution for the problem in the archives.

I've added the mailing list address again.  Please keep it copied.

For example with `gs -v' or `gs --version' (without the quotation marks)
in a terminal.

It might be that the shell in such a terminal uses a different
environment than the one in Emacs.  So you might want to execute the
command directly in Emacs, for example with `M-! gs -v <RET>'.

Another option would be to call `M-x preview-report-bug <RET>' because
that gathers version information for Ghostscript.
