I can't reproduce this -- perhaps it's a window manager issue?

Hmmm... that window is already huge, it would be nice to keep its size
down for users with small displays.  The four buttons take up a lot of
room (horizontally) -- if they were arranged into two rows of two,
would that leave enough room for the name list?
