[Bug-gnubg] Feature Request: Support for Manual Match Entry

An idea I've had for some time is that a backgammon
program should have a mode intended for entering
a match. This could be used, for example, when
reviewing a videotaped match, or when watching a
major finals via closed circuit tv.

This mode should make it convenient to enter the
dice (I favor JF's dialog over Snowie's, but that
may be a matter of taste), and make it fairly easy
to enter illegal moves and to back up the entry
several moves in the case of error.

The most significant innovation that could be added
that would help those entering the data would be
to use the evaluation engine. Basically, when you
enter the dice, a list should appear with the
moves ordered by evaluation rank. This should appear
without requiring any click or keypress (apart from
indicating the roll). Then, it should be possible
to indicate the move made with a single click or
keypress (for moves in the evaluated list).

Since most moves made will be the highest evaluated
move, or at least in the top few moves, this would
make it dramatically easier to enter a recorded
(or viewed) match.
