I have just made a commit to the cvs including the GUI integration of windows. There are still some bug, and some unimplemented functions. I would like suggestions and assistence on these issues.

I'll try to list the most obvious ones here:

The 2D board:
   - I must have done something that broke the dynamic label system.
     (I don't know what's wrong, and I can't understand it.)

What's this?

   - HTML images export is probably broken.

It worked for me with the current CVS.

Other things:

Is it possible to have a compile option or better GUI option to switch between the integrated and the old windows layout?

The annotation window is sometimes missing when browsing through a match. It only shows a grey empty space. This happens very irregularly but frequently and a second click on the same move does display it.

When the focus is on any listbox (like game record) some shortcuts for browsing the game don't work anymore. This is at least Shift-PageUp and -Down which I have set to prev/next checker play. This has always been this way, but now it's harder to give the focus to something else. Formerly I could just click on the board window and it would steal the focus. Now one option is to click on the stop button.

When browsing through a match the clists of the game record and/or the annotation resize by themselves. This is especially prominent and thus annoying with German translation. I guess the string lengths differ that much more. Sometimes even the board gets bigger and smaller due to this when the window is maximised. Else the borders just go far off the screen.
