If we decide to rename get_date() to parse_datetime(), we can add a
#define get_date parse_datetime
for one year or so, so that maintainers have all the time they need to
react on the deprecation warning.

For the texinfo documentation also, we could provide a smooth migration,
by adding a doc/getdate.texi file that merely does a "@include get_date.texi".
But that didn't seem worth the effort, since few packages include this doc in
their manual.
