It's a slow Friday afternoon, so let me pose a provocative,
non-technical question: What does the impending ratification of the
R6RS standard mean for Chicken, and for you?

At the onset of R6RS' process, Felix shared his misgivings about its
scope and substance. I doubt that Chicken's going to be
R6RS-compliant. As a one-Scheme user, I'm not terribly concerned about
Chicken's compliance with the new standard. But I would love to hear
what others think of the process and how they might (or intend to)
vote on the acceptance of the new draft.
