the -skick isn't recognised by the do_kick or
proceed_user_kick function - so it's useless this way...
for me the -kick function is just an hubcommand to give the
possibility to use the $kick manually... nothing more
the missing timeparameter can be included inside the $kick
handling and proceed with the do_ban_kick.
for the -close function you can do the same - just add a
time-value of 0 inside the do_close function and let the
function proceed with do_ban_kick, or even more simplier use
the -ban command with an timevalue of 0...
this way the only difference left is the ban-duration can be
used to change the further behaviour.
but this is not as important as to reinclude the
banfunctionalitys for nicks/ip's not actually in the hub...

I don't agree. If you check the -kick/-skick and -bankick
functions, at the end, you will see they both call
proceed_user_kick, they just use different parameters. The
displayed message is a bit different ("is kicking" vs "is
banning") and while -kick uses a key to have the duration of
the ban, -bankick accept the parameter directly within the
command. I think -kick is just a degenerated version of
-bankick.
