You say you will fix it only on 2.6...but I think if it is a
real bug, fixing on both would be idial.

You probably worry if it may break anything in 2.5 and don't want to
touch 2.5 very much, but if this issue is caused by the same reason 
and can be fixed by the same way, then fixing both would be the 
very solution...please...please...

If I submit a bug report on Savannah and debian BTS both, will you
fix it both? (just kidding... *grin*) :-)

If you really are to fix it on 2.6 only, the registration page on 2.5
& and many other pages which shows the user's email address will need to 
be modified so that users do not get confused...
