I've posted an announcement on Savannah News, and as it requires
approval I have also tried to change the permission required for
approval to be any group member. This may take a day to take effect.
(Or, I may not have understood the interface).
Meanwhile, if any group member has some release notes, a brief
outline of the main features of the release could be added to the
posting (you can edit the posting).
I'll see if I can approve the posting after 24 hrs.
