Okay, this is the problem, probably.  

It seems there's a dependency missing, but I don't see how it works.
glib-mkenums is in the tools::glib package.  You can check what
happens if you run /usr/bin/glib-mkenums, the tools one says (short):

    $ /home/janneke/vc/gub/target/tools/root/usr/bin/glib-mkenums
    Usage: glib-mkenums [options] [files...]
    [..]
    Production text substitutions:
      @ENUMPREFIX@               PREFIX

Pangocairo build depends [via _get_build_depends in gub/specs/pango.py]
on glib, which build depends on tools::glib.  So it should be there,
even though pango should also build depend on tools::glib.

Hmm.  Please try adding tools::glib to gub/specs/pango/pango.py's
_get_build_dependencies () list [or do a git pull]?
