In the project I have been working on, we have been using a
AR5000 receiver (http://www.aoruk.com/ar5000.htm). This receiver
can is tunable from 10kHz to 2600MHz. It also has an IF output
centered at 10.7MHz with selectable 3kHz to 220kHz bandwidth
which we sample at 1MSample/s (no mistake...).
