Hi Bdale --

Interesting idea about the FPGA hack.  If that doesn't work, TAPR is
just now releasing a product called the Reflock II that allows you to
lock just about any oscillator to a standard frequency, or to a 1pps
signal.  I'm going to use one to generate 64MHz locked to my house
standard -- haven't yet figured out just what the best choice of VCXO
will be, though.

We'll be showing the Reflock II off at the DCC (Santa Ana, CA --
September 23-25) and we'll have 'em for sale shortly thereafter.
