Hi list,
I've just installed GNUStep on Windows. I'd lile to try some
developing using Objective-C and it seemed that GNUStep is what I
need.
I'm a bit confused though so I have a few questions on GNUStep and Windows.
I installed using the binary package which install a boatload of stuff
(mingw, many different libraries, etc.). So I should be set to go for
devleoping using GNUStep, right?
I'd like to try out some GNUStep applications to see how it's like,
but I'm not sure I can even do that. Can I devleop GUI applications on
Windows? I ask because I read on the site that the GUI toolkit uses
Win32 on Windows, so from that I assumed I shuold able to. On the
other hand, in the FAQ it says to use Windowmaker for the applications
to get the best look. Can I use Windowmaker on Windows; I though it
was a Linux only window manager? Do I need anything at all to run
GNUStep GUI apps on Windows (and developing them)?
Thanks all help and info in advance,
Jacob
