If you're new to GNUstep, Windows may be a poor platform to start your exploration on.

I suggest you install Ubuntu 10.04 in a virtual machine and use the attached shell script as a guide to installing GNUstep. ProjectCenter and Gorm are not built with this script, but you shouldn't have problems building them in a way similar to what's demonstrated in the shell script.

Note to others:
This is the way I got GNUstep SVN working on a pristine Ubuntu 10.04 in VirtualBox. I did not yet replicate the experiment, but I think I kept pretty good notes. After testing, it may be a good idea to put this somewhere on GNUstep's web site, since Ubuntu is the most popular (or one of the most popular) end-user distributions.

Hi,

Can someone please help me?! I am new to GNUstep and I've been really struggling to run Project Center on Windows 7. When I try to build a project I get the following error message: " :dup : dup(some disk file) failed, handle 0, Win32 error 6" . Has anyone had the same problem? Any ideas what's wrong? Maybe it has something to do with the Build Options, do I have to enter some text in the Arguments field or just leave it empty?
Thanks for your help in advance!
