Dear Marko,

My ultimate motive is to advance open source education software, and accelerate development.

The project being advocated is designed to produce strictly GPL-v3'd education software that is also available outside of the particular platform described.

I am a long-time FOSS developer and advocate ... 15 years now.   What I am advocating is something new, but not, I hope, something at-odds with GNU philosophy.   In fact, I have thought long and hard about this particular model and how not to offend my colleagues in the open source education software community.

I am interested to fix any holes in my scheme, though, so could you elaborate on where I could be mistaken?

Thank you,
Charles

Dear Charles,

Note that you're advertising your work to the wrong audience. This list
is about free software in education, not non-commercial. If the
difference between the two is not obvious to you, please refer to
numerous resources by the GNU project or other free software projects
and organizations, e.g.:
