Fixing the compile is basically all that is necessary.  I don't think
Windows applications can support multiple displays, so that port will
remain single-terminal in functionality (at least for now).

Yes, this is unfortunate; it was dictated by circumstances.

I changed employers last summer and need to have the papers signed again
before the merge; this shouldn't be a problem.  Dan Nicolaescu, Han
Boetes and Kalle Olavi Niemitalo helped by submitting short patches.
There might have been a few one-liner bugfixes from other people; I will
check my logs.  There were no other code contributions, but loads of
helpful discussion and bug reports.
