I wouldn't want that.  It's non-conform to what _all_ other applications on
Linux do (same on Windows, I believe).

I mean no one would expect Firefox to put text into the clipboard if you
select it using the mouse.

Why would I want to have each and every snippet I kill in the clipboard?
