Out of curiosity, would it be acceptable if bare WikiWords were
colored and published *only* if a file exists in the current directory
by that name?

I am a bit worried about that variable not being customizable.  Could
you check my latest changes and see if the problem still exists?  I
did quite a bit of hacking on muse-wiki over the weekend while
offline.

Well ... I'd prefer to just fix this problem.  I'll take a look at
Yann's changes tomorrow and hopefully coordinate the fix with him over
IRC on the #muse channel.

I agree.  This will be implemented before the next release.
