[Fle3-dev] example projects

From: Dean Goodmanson

I'm not sure where to send the following suggestion so I'm posting to the dev
mailing list. I am not a subscriber, so if you feel I need feedback please cc:
my address.
---

I played with fle3 a bit at my home and was rather bumbling around.

I would like to be able to install fle3 with example projects.

To quickly attract the attention of python/zope developers, example projects
around Python & Zope training/learning by investigation projects may provide an
understanding base to evaluate the potential of the product. This may also
enhance fle3 as a tool for peer or small group/club programming or web
development classes.

Best Regards,

Dean

Can you be more verbose about what you mean with "example projects"?
If you are refereing to somekind of course material that comes bundled
with the software, I really think you should read the
"How do I use Fle3 in my study course?" document located at
http://fle3.uiah.fi/how_to_use_fle3_on_course.html. Something like
this has been discussed before, but I think the main point was that
each group has it's individual way of working together, and there
is no point in just releasing a finished course, because it is
fundamentaly the process that creates understanding.

But if some study course somewere agrees upon releasing their course
under an acceptable license, I don't see why no-one could look at it,
and get some ideas on what to do on their own course, or something
like that.

Best regards,
Bo
