   Yes, that would work, but we don't need to set up an apt repository to host
debian packages. We can as well just have them somewhere for direct download
(like .rpms) and have our users download and install «by hand».

   I would like to help with the packages, but right now I'm very busy (some
months ago I wanted to do it, but first we need libfox-ruby packages with
FXScintilla support, and that made me stop; there are libfox-ruby packages
ready to be sponsored to enter Debian somewhere, but they have no support for
FXScintilla). I suppose I can provice guidelines and links for anyone willing
to invest some time in it.
