Veasna,

to use any TTF font on the Nokia 9210, do these things:

1. Put your TTF font in \system\fonts on any writable drive - probably C: or
D:. (I recommend D:, the removable drive, because it is then easier to
delete the fonts if necessary by taking the memory card out of the 9210 and
deleting the file using a drive attached to a PC.) The file must have the
extension TTF or TTC and be a TrueType or TrueType Collection file.

2. Reboot the Nokia 9210 by removing and reinserting the rechargable
battery.

That's it - the font and bitmap server will offer any files it finds in the
\system\fonts directory, on all available drives, to any available
rasterizer DLLs, including FREETYPE.DLL, which will load them if possible.

If this doesn't work, it means that either the font file is corrupt, or not
really a TTF font, or the device has run out of memory trying to load the
font.

Best regards,

Graham Asher
