[Freetype] Errors with compiling PHP 4.0.5, GD 2.0.1 and Freetype 2.0.4...

I had been trying to install PHP 4.0.5 GD 2.0.1 and Freetype 2.0.4 for some 
days now. I could compile GD and Freetype without any
error as far as i saw. But after the compilation of PHP - which also does well 
- i can't start Apache anymore and it displays the
following message:

Setting up Web Service: Syntax error on line 33 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/lib/apache/libphp4.so into server: /usr/lib/libgd.so: undefined
 symbol: FT_New_Face
/usr/sbin/httpd

Where could the error lie?
