Welcome to your occasional guide to who's doing what for AFFS, the

Who : Alex Hudson
What: Need this sort of thing online and easy actions for supporters

Task: Patent campaign
Who : Alex Hudson?
What: Researching at the moment. What are the next steps?

Task: Preparation of Birmingham Expo
Who : Martyn Ranyard? Richard Ibbotson?
What: Well, it's happening. What should we do there? What do we need?

Task: Drafting an introduction for non-specialists
Who : Ramin Nakisa
What: First draft published to list and suggestions being made

Task: Preparing launch PR material
Who : Richard Smedley? Brain Gough? Me? Someone else?
What: First draft to list, but now beached.

Task: A new free software-type news web site
Who : Me, with barracking/help from robster
What: Software being rewritten.

Task: Approaching http://www.linuxinstallday.org/ about sponsoring
Who : Me
What: Second emails sent. Waiting for more details.

Task: Getting himself flamed mercilessly on LUG mailing lists
Who : Me
What: Learning to keep my mouth shut in certain places.

Random tasks that I'm not sure what's happened to:

Task: Designing the logo
Task: Arranging the first committee meeting
Task: Finding out what CDR are doing about patents

Feel free to adopt one of these tasks, or start another. This is only my
view and all blunders are mine, so please don't hold back with the
corrections. Absolutely no warranty.
