I found out something crazy: if I select (double click) a file in the playlist it will always give this error. even if I first play a 44khz then a 22khz file. However if I play a 44Khz file and THEN a 22Khz file with the playlist swithcing to the next song (not double clikc) it will play at twice the speed, high pitch. Cool... :)
