Unlikely but who knows...

Does the AO bundle works for you, using ALSA as its backend ? I'm afraid
we can rule out a bug in ALSA if the answer is yes.

Strange for sure, cool I'm not sure !

I'll try to reproduce this same sequence, thanks for the input.
