I'm glad to hear these are old bugs that have been fixed.

I'm wondering if somehow the .tar.gz file I was using had some old
files in it for some reason.

Could you please send me the file that contains the fix to the
above-mentioned bug so I can compare?

By the way, all the file timestamps on files in the .tar.gz file I was
using are between 2007-08-03T07:36 and 2007-08-03T23:23.  But the
files could be older than their timestamps, which is why I want to
compare.
