Hi
Yes but that Ok and Cancel will work only for the install but what about
using
the distro later on. It will have no Ok or Cancel. If you mean ease of
install then it
works out fine but logic of Ok and Cancel does not.
Now you don't see the humor, I don't mean people have just to click
"OK" and "Cacel" and install with defaults on. I refered to people
using proprietary OS which don't allow them to change the way they use
it.

Exactly but I never said that the installer should not be there and its
useless.
Read the mail again I didn't replied to your lines.

I know but how does install.exe fit out here. If you mean that these
people do not
know to install a GNU/Linux distro then let me remind you in most of
these
organisations they a person using a computer does not install it on his
system
install Windows its goodbye time for him.
See I am not saying that install.exe is useless what I meant in my
earlier mail was
how it fits in.
You seem to be confirmed that its goodbye time for those who only know
how to install Windows. I don't see you are getting the context when I
wrote those lines. Quoting YOUR LINES which got this reply are :
"""
> Exactly why would anyone want to run the installer from Windows itself when
> if you want to install you will have to download the installer and then run
> it unless you really want kicks for kicking Windows from within it.. I checked
"""
install.exe is not the only option for people in the test cases.
Here in the example you gave you have diverged from the topic of
install.exe and
You never said that it is an option. You questioned about this option.
And good you know about many other ways for these people.
himself there are SysAdmins for the job and if a SysAdmin only knows how
SysAdmins are not for each person and organisation. Look for people
around you. I have seen people spending lot of efforts in getting
things getting right.
I had mentioned ShipIt in a lighter tone. Please get the humour.
I am too poor at getting humour, never heard anything (tones) while reading.
