We know OGL sucks since AGG was introduced,
and OGL never got any better than it was.

In December 3 2010, thanks to a contribution by Petter Reinholdtsen,
the default _requirement_ of OpenGL dependencies was drop, turning OGL
renderer build setting to "auto". This was commit 692eb4829. With that
commit opengl was built only when its dependencies were met.

I do agree OGL works badly, and I'm also happy with completely dropping
the code for it. But it's a pity to drop one of the few "auto" implemented,
especially since it's the original Petter patch :)

Did you have any specific problem you were trying to solve with this commit
or was it a generic "cleanup" drive ?
