Ok, I just updated to patch-41, but I still get:

address@hidden> tla-cvs-sync
* updating from CVS
* committing CVS changes to address@hidden/rhythmbox--mainline--1.0
nawk: cmd. line:99: (FILENAME=- FNR=9) fatal error: internal error
/src/arch/address@hidden/tla-tools--mainline/tla-update-tags: line 189: 18990
Done(1)                 { if test `tla log-ls | wc -l` -eq 0; then
    tla inventory --names -s | sed 'address@hidden@A  @';
else
    tla what-changed;
fi; }
     18991 Aborted                 | nawk '
'"$TLA_AWK_FUNS"'

BEGIN {
  # Renaming heuristic thresholds
  max_closeness = 100
...

Anything else I can do to help you debug this?
