Hello,

I've made available a public Arch archive containing the full history
of the Linux kernel from version 0.01 to the present-day 2.6 test
series and all versions in between (plus some -pre, -test, and -rc
versions). I intend to keep it updated as new versions of the kernel
are released.

Archive name: address@hidden
Location: http://arch.debian.org/arch/linux

Documentation and category/branch names (important):
http://arch.debian.org/docs/linux/ (open this in a web browser, not tla)

The archive was made by importing each version from ftp.kernel.org
using my kernimport and tla_load_dirs scripts. Changelogs, when
published at kernel.org, are included in the Arch log message. All
arch log messages include the version of the kernel committed and an
estimate of its original release date.

Original branching is maintained where possible; for instance, the
linus--mainline--2.5 tree appears in the archive as a tag of
linus--mainline--2.4--patch-20, the last version before 2.5 split off
upstream.

Configs are available (see the docs) to make it easy to retrieve any
arbitrary kernel version.

Enjoy, and please send me any comments!
