Sorry, I'm not trying to focus on an attempt I made so much as the concept. I the following page:

http://regexps.srparish.net/tutorial-tla/shared-and-public-archives.html

Under the ``Mirroring a Remote Archive Locally'' section the following:

Second, create your local mirror:

% tla make-archive --mirror-from address@hidden $local_location

That command will, as a side effect, register address@hidden as the name of your local mirror.

If it registers the original archive name, then won't any of my interactions with address@hidden access my mirror? If a mirror is read-only, then doesn't that mean I can no longer check anything into that repository?

As far as trying to set the name during the creation of the mirror, this is what I attempted (line breaks added):

        tla make-archive --mirror-from address@hidden \
                address@hidden \
                /afs/spy.net/home/dustin/public_html/arch/projects-public

        Then I tried both of

dustinti:~/prog/eprojects/money 618% tla archive-mirror address@hidden archive-mirror: no mirror or source registered for address@hidden
0.000u 0.010s 0:00.00 0.0% 0+0k 0+0io 0pf+0w

dustinti:~/prog/eprojects/money 619% tla archive-mirror address@hidden
arch_archive_connect: attempt to connect to wrong mirror
  archive: address@hidden
  wanted mirror of: address@hidden
got mirror of: (not a mirror)
