how? The current tags would be matched by a default regexp. Many warnings
would have to be given to "advanced" users that changing the regexp will
probably make demons fly out your nose, but it would be an extremely useful
feature for trees that already carry a tagline which is interpreted by other
software .. or simply for copyright/document tracking reasons. Think MSWORD
document meta-data.

I think allowing regexps while providing current behaviour as a default is a
lot less problematic than changing suddenly from arch-tag: to arch-id:
