I am on Gentoo and I had the same problem, but I made a couple of
patches to regain compatibility with 2.2. I haven't had time to
cleanup the tempfile-related one, but getting rid of the dependency on
sets is trivial (and really should be merged if it hasn't been yet,
hint, hint).
