CVS doesn't have the notion of version, only branches and revisions,
right?

So if you want CVS like development, that's easy to do now. Just say
that TRUNK means fsdg--mainline--0, get your project tree one time
with 'tla get address@hidden/fsdg--mainline--0' and always work on
this version. If you want a branch ala CVS, create a new
'fsdg--<branch>--<ver>' version tagged to
fsdg--mainline--0--<latest-patch> (aka HEAD).
