OpenSSL is mostly 4-clause BSD, and it relies upon SSLEay which is
BSD-with-anti-GPL-clause (straight BSD license, but with an extra
clause carefully worded to make it GPL-incompatible).
There's not much that can be done about this, because Theo is an arse
and so is Eric Young. The standard solution is "use gnutls".
