To me it seems two things are being conflated: Classifying files and
the handler for a particular classification.  I can see
=tagging-method recognizing more types than junk, backup, precious,
source, excluded and unrecognized.  I submit that handlers for such
new types should be defined in a separate place, for the
inventory-related reasons that abentley enumerated.
