I, for one, will likely end up replying to crossposted messages on
whichever list makes the most sense to do so. Typically g-a-u, unless
the discussion has become esoterically developer-related.
This is partly because I agree with you, and also partly because I
literally have to. I signed up for each list with a different e-mail
address for spam control reasons, and can't crosspost without one list
or the other rejecting it (as I discovered yesterday).
