should be clean enough to be integrated in bazaar. Jérôme, Robert, can
you try this one? Bazaar developers, can you have a look at the code
and merge it or tell me to do so?

(arch_find_or_make_tmp_local_copy now returns a local tree with the
revision and version fields preset instead of a string)
