hello there,

i just checked in new classes and updates to the CVS. the ChangeLog
portion for these is:

+ removed the SVUID from javax.crypto.interfaces.PBEKey, so it can
  inherit the value from java.security.Key.
+ updated javax.crypto.SealedObject to use same serial version UID
  as JDK 1.4.
+ updated the documentation of javax.crypto.interfaces.PBEKey to
reflect JDK 1.4's semantics. use std. GNU Crypto copyright text.
+ added new class javax.crypto.ExemptionMechanismSpi.
+ added missing methods to PBESpec (in javax.crypto.spec),
  Cipher, ExemptionMechanism, KeyAGreement, KeyGenerator, Mac,
  SealedObject, SecretKeyFactory (in javax.crypto).
+ renamed the private getImplementation() in javax.crypto.JCEUtil
to getImplementationFromProvider and made it package-private.
+ added javax.crypto.interfaces.PBEKey and
  javax.crypto.MechanismExemptionSpi to Makefile.am files.

the end result of these changes is that now the javax.crypto classes are
100% comparable to the JDK 1.4 (see
<http://www.gnu.org/software/gnu-crypto/jdk14-gnu-crypto.html>).

i also updated the home page to add a reference to the japitools and the
result obtained after running it against the JDK1.4. i'll keep this
page updated as i frequently build GCJ.

in the next few days, i'll be concentrating on addressing the
differences in the java.security.* packages in libjava to reduce /
eliminate them.

cheers;
rsn
