contributions to the GNU Crypto project can only be made after copyright 
assignment papers are processed.  i already emailed you the appropriate 
form.

i'll look into this as soon as i finish the work i'm currently doing on 
various bits of the library.  i may ask you to test some variants 
before checking in a new version of the script in CVS.

p.s.  i received the patch --which is too large for the mail list
