PPP on GNU (was: Re: Anything to do?)

   Are there any plans to implement a way for the Hurd to access the
   Internet via ppp over serial modems?  (In my case, 56k)

PPP should work on the Hurd, but there are/where problems with the
serial driver in GNU Mach.  If you could, please try if PPP works with
speeds above 9600 baud.  You might need to do some porting work on
porting a PPP program to GNU though.
