Yes, the BROKEN PIPE is a known (to me!) problem.  It doesn't
cause any problems, other than the message.

The html directory is mis-named.  It used to contain HTML, but
not regress.plx parses the *.xml files under the html/strategy.tst/
directory and generates HTML based on the HTTP query string.
regress.plx uses standard Perl CGI commands, so setting it up
locally should also be pretty easy - just a matter of setting
up a web page that maps an HTTP query to execute regress.plx.

I'm having trouble re-creating the crash now, too.  GNU Go has
never crashed before on the www.public32.com machine, so I'm 
pretty sure I'm not crazy, though!  I was re-creating consistently
on my development machine yesterday afternoon.
