Hi Klaus, and welcome!,

To get CVS access you could join the GNU Herds Savannah project. You can
follow the steps exposed at:
http://www.gnuherds.org/GNU_Herds_Hackers_Guide.php#The_CVS_server

Well, you are already registered at Savannah.

Get the source code
https://savannah.nongnu.org/cvs/?group=gnuherds-app

P.S.: I have almost ready a basic "job alert system". I hope commit it
tomorrow.

You are a good man!

"Ralf Himmelreich", himmelreich.ralf AT gmx.de, is translating it to German.
Such task is at 60%, more or less. I propose you allow he to try to finish
the translation. Later, you can take a quick look to the already-translated
website to fix any mistake. So you will be able to get time to look to the
PHP source code.

If he do not finish the task, you could do it. Translating is a lot of work.
For example, note the Russian translation is already online, but not at CVS,
due its state is _trasitional_. It is not finished yet. Nickolay is working
on it.

Anyway, of course, you are free to do what you want.

Abstract:

  1. If it is possible, it is better you realize some PHP or HTML task,

  2. and later carry out the German translation maintenance, which is
almost no-work. The maintenance is easy after it has been translated.

You have to do what you want. An option is just do nothing. Giving feedback is
a way to help too. You are free to do what you want.

Very best regards,
Davi
