I doubt that is going to work. Likely they use different
markup languages.

I was thinking to copy over the current content text files (not revisioning info etc) but even if each file was reborn as "version 1" the main concern would be whether MoinMoin would adequately "detect" and link the pages. For example, when rendering a topic (page) that contain what SHOULD be links to files (or anchors within files) that did already exist, would MoinMoin "see" them and render that reference as a hypertext link on the page?

If the above would not work then the pages would have to be rebuilt manually although, as each is created, the content could be copied/pasted from a tarred archive.

There are some differences in the syntax. Some of these could be easily replaced (underscore with a pair of single quotes "", for italics) but others more tricky e.g. TWiki asterisk (when adjacent to an alphanumeric) is used for "bolding" would need to be replaced with a triplet of single quotes """, however in TWiki - the asterisk also serves when preceded by 3 or more spaces, and followed by at least one space, to denote a bullet list item, and - an asterisk might get used by itself at the end of a word or sentence to denote a footnote

I notice heading level information is also formatted differently and I so far saw no equivalent for TWiki's "verbatim" mode but maybe <verbatim> ...content... </verbatim> would still be respected?
